Whew! What a week it has been…I was the Executive Chef for C.H.O.I.C.E.S. Camp Diva in Atlanta this week. It was an amazing time in the kitchen because each day I prepared Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks daily for about 45 people. I brought the divas into the kitchen each day having them help prepare lunch! We made Spaghetti & Meatballs, Chicken Caesar Wraps, Baked Oatmeal…and so much more!!! I had one special diva who found a love for being in the kitchen and was in there all day. It was great showing the divas how easy it was to cook in the kitchen and all the fun foods that can be made! Here is a link to a video of the week…http://youtu.be/2LgfcO19DbU I am also included in some clips of me teaching in the kitchen. I am now proud to say I’m an author…I wrote my first cookbook for families for the Divas & their families which included about 30 original recipes. I will eventually start selling copies. This week I am working with Emory University & First Congregational Church in Atlanta, GA as their Executive Chef for their music summer camp. They are teaching students from grades 4-6 how to play new instruments and get their taste buds wet for music and for GREAT FOOD!!
